Fall 2019-What's your vote? Health Care in the US- Should it be universal, government ran?
The United States health care has been a controversial issue for decades. Currently, some people are covered under government health plans through programs like Medicaid, Medicare and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Many of the rest receive health care through their employer, or through private insurance for which they have to pay out of their own pockets, but about 40 million people in the USA do not have health insurance at all.
Does our current free enterprise system keep our health care top notch and encourage doctors to practice here?
Should we have universal health care?

I feel as the healthcare plans are only available to people with the economic means or if they are employed. Other individuals genuinely just cannot afford to receive the proper treatment that can eventually be a cause of their death. I think they should have a right to receive the same care as someone with money. Side: Healthcare for all

I totally agree with you because in almost all cases the middle class gets ignored which is not fair at all! I agree with you because often times the people that don’t have the money for health care are often the ones that need it the most. I support the idea of free healthcare because as Americans we have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness and how are we supposed to have that when our lower class economies are dying due to financial issues and not being able to afford healthcare. Therefore I think free healthcare is very beneficial to the U.S. Side: Healthcare for all
I support you because everyone should be able to receive the same treatment and they should have the liberty to receive health care as others do . Economic problems for taking care of your own health shouldn’t be a problem and people should have insurances to cover those payments. Side: Healthcare for all

I believe we should have universal healthcare in America. This would help people who don’t have money to access health insurance for medical attention. It would also help those who don’t qualify for insurance because of previous illness. This can help the average working class American to be able to have the care they need while also not being severely broke due to hospital and medicine costs. Side: Healthcare for all

I agree, allowing people to have universal health care would help decrease the amount of people on the streets and it could also help those that spend all of their money on medical procedures to not worry about that. If everyone has health care it could decrease the death rate of our nation because people can finally get the care that they need. Not having health care can cause people to live life with a huge risk, but since everyone would obtain health care they can live life happily knowing they have the support that they need. Working Americans could still have financial strain because to cover the cost much more money for taxes would be pulled out. How is healthcare a human right? Someone had to go to school for 12 years to become a doctor in order to provide a service, the service being healthcare. So therefore, shouldn’t healthcare be considered a commodity and not a right, since you don’t have a right to someone else’s services? Side: We can take care of ourselves

You have a right to life in terms of the government defending and protecting your life. The government doesn’t come perform a surgery on you; another person does. A human right is something that is believe that without any argument should be given to every person. Healthcare is a convenience that we experience. During the 1920s hospitals began offering services based on people who paid. If it was a human right since the beginning everyone would have had free healthcare. Having health insurance is important for several reasons. Uninsured people receive less medical care and less timely care, they have worse health outcomes, and lack of insurance is a fiscal burden for them and their families. Moreover, the benefits of expanding coverage outweigh the costs for added services. According to a study from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, under a single-payer system, in which all citizens are guaranteed a right to health care, total public and private health care spending could be lowered by up to $1.8 trillion over the next 10 years due to lowered administrative and prescription drug costs. I think if it was universal ppl would take advantage of it. So, if its gov. ran we wouldn't have to deal with that kind of issue of advantage taking. if the health care was free, our mortality rate would be higher. Therefore, health care should be substantially reduce. Side: Healthcare for all
I agree with you for healthcare is very expensive and that’s why us, Americans, have a lower mortality rate. If healthcare was less expensive we could be like Cuba, Canada, or France where they don’t have to worry about getting sick or injured and the money they will have to pay. Side: Healthcare for all
We need the proper care for our bodies. Some things we just can’t do ourselves. Some people need serious surgeries but can’t get them because they can’t afford it and end up dying soon after. People are losing their loved ones because everything here is so expensive such as the medicines, vaccines ,and surgeries. Side: Healthcare for all

Having free universal healthcare for all will benefit everyone. Everyone will be able to see a doctor and know what how their health is standing. Providing basic health care is the humane right thing to do, and in the long run it will be worth it. I disagree, in the long run the US would be in about $32.6 trillion dollars in debt. When you say “why should we have to pay for something we didn’t ask for”, why should everyone else have to pay for your health because the “free health care” will be coming from people’s paychecks and taxes. Side: We can take care of ourselves
Even though I am part of the other team, I agree with you because they should provide us with basic health care, we shouldn’t have to pay for the basic health to keep us healthy but if we were to have a universal health care how do we know those who are doing non healthy things will stop to do it. They know they have health care covered, they know that before they get bad they can get help and then do it again and waste the resources we need for others. People WILL abuse the system because that’s what we humans (mainly Americans) do with free stuff. Side: We can take care of ourselves
Free healthcare for all would allow people to: It would save Americans millions. To get surgery on America the way it is now would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars while in Canada or other places with universal health care it would be a bit more in taxes. Of course a sacrifice is needed and that would be the wait time. But if you’re truly thinking about it a little bit of a longer wait time doesn’t matter if it’s FREE. :) Side: Healthcare for all

I agree since universal healthcare can help Americans and we should be able to have healthcare at a low price or for free. It's not right for people to die just because they don't have the money it resources. This may not happen but hopefully it will in the near future. Side: Healthcare for all
Everyone deserves health care, we cannot play god and decide who gets what surgeries or medication just to save money. The amount of people that are dying due to these choices is increasing every day because people can’t afford to pay all the bills by themselves. Side: Healthcare for all

Health care for all is a good choice because other countries have cheaper health care than us. U.S. spends more money in health care and steal from the sick In a video, Cuba has cheap health care and helps other people outside their country. They say Cuba is a piece of hell but they even care for other people. I believe that U.S. is a country that helps and cares, but there are times the country we live in doesn't help so much. Side: Healthcare for all
Healthcare should be affordable to all people because managing your health is a necessity. No one should be able to not recieve proper healthcare just because they can't afford it. Everyone should be able to recieve proper healthcare without having to worry about the cost or medical troubles they should have in the future. Side: Healthcare for all
I support healthcare for all because everyone should have the right to receive health even if they can’t afford it. Having healthcare for everyone would benefit the country because more people are gonna be healthy and happy which brings positive vibes. Adding to my main argument some people can’t afford healthcare and when they get sick they don’t have anyone to go to because they don’t have health insurance and that means more deaths which isn’t beneficial for anyone. In conclusion health care should be given to everyone because everyone needs to be able to rely on something when they’ve gotten sick. Side: Healthcare for all
Healthcare should be free because many people don’t have enough money to pay for their treatments. Having free healthcare would give them less money problems, especially with people with huge families because they still have to worry about other problems going on. Side: Healthcare for all

Healthcare should free for everyone no matter the financial class. People should not have to take life endangering risks to avoid drowning in medical bills. Healthcare should be free because you shouldn’t have to be in serious debt and then go bankrupt all because you couldn’t pay off your debt. People are denied basic care because they couldn’t pay for it, people shouldn’t be kicked out of hospitals because they can’t pay for their hospitals bills, people shouldn’t have life saving treatments denied because their insurance doesn’t cover it. People all over America are dying because hey aren’t getting the proper healthcare they deserve all because they don’t have the money, all they seem to care about is profit and the money and don’t seem to care about the people, they just care about the money in their pockets and that should not be the norm. Side: Healthcare for all
I believe everyone should be able to have free healthcare like other countries because we want to be protected if something happens to us. I believe it’s our country’s duty to protect our health if we become ill, just like other countries. Our people shouldn’t have to go to third world countries in order to get the help they need. They should be able to get the aid they need in their home country! Side: Healthcare for all
I believe that we should all have access to free health care. Health care should be a right not a privilege and it shouldn’t be denied by a persons income. Health care shouldn’t just be for the “wealthy” it should be for all of us ! All we are trying to do is take care of ourselves Side: Healthcare for all
I strongly believe that healthcare should be free and for all. The main reason why I believe that healthcare should be free and for all is because of the fact that the rate of poverty has drastically increased over the past few years. I believe that people with a higher income should not be discriminated and get offered free healthcare. I maintain the thought of equality, therefore, we all deserve free healthcare and for everyone. Side: Healthcare for all
I believe that healthcare should be universal because the last thing sick people should be worrying about is how they’re gonna pay for their medical bills. The healthcare system was meant to be a safety net for the middle class but like every other system those with excess continue to steal from people who have nothing to take from. Insurance companies should not cut corners and pinch penny’s when people lives are at stake. They know how dependent people are of their healthcare and they still deny thousands of people for having preexisting condition that were most likely unaware of. The motivation of private insurance to make medical advancements should not come from the money they saved from turning people away and leaving them to fend for themselves. Side: Healthcare for all
I agree, your comment is strongly true and informative. There is many low and middle class citizens that worry every day on how they will pay their hospital bills. The system should be more helpful rather than useless because people that have healthcare are basically paying the company to take their money away because they do not help people that are I’ll resolve their health problems. Side: Healthcare for all
Healthcare for all because not everyone can afford healthcare. Not everyone can take care of themselves like the homeless. Healthcare needs to be accessible for everyone no matter age because if the government was in the same position as some of the people in America they would make it accessible for all. I think that health care should be something that has to be a right given to the people. Because over all the people pay for the production of the equipment, medicine, for the staff and many more. I feel that this is the right way to go since it’s obvious people without enough money to afford healthcare and it’s killing people. Some can’t afford medication to help them get better. Its easy to by pass this since the government won’t pay the doctors money for free healthcare to people in their country. The amount of lives that could be saved by free health care could be astronomical. The opportunities for this is endless. Peoples lives are getting saved for little to no cost no matter what. It’s evident that the healthcare expenses aren’t even affordable to Most of the country without Heath insurance. The health insurance itself is not fair to people. This makes the heath insurance a valuable source and they have the power in health insurance they levy people’s lives . First of all, universal healthcare is a system in which the federal government provides that offers quality health care to all citizens regardless of their ability to pay. Saying this, it is obvious the United States is the complete opposite. If you do not have healthcare, you must pay, leaving many in debt, and even on the streets. When you look at other places like Cuba, Canada and even Europe, it is proven that their lifespan is longer than american’s by 3-4 years. Although some of these countries’ economies may not be the best, at least they care enough for their people’s health. They know that in order for a country’s economy to function is for people to be healthy. Why? Because they are the ones that work. They are the foundation in a country. So why does the US perform the opposite? Simple answer. They make money off the sick. Therefore, they will continue to do so, showing their greediness instead of the humanity and empathy. Side: Healthcare for all
Health care should be provided for everyone. You shouldn’t have to pay to be alive.its a wait but at least your gonna get the help you need eventually. Health insurance companies expect you to have the least amount of problems while applying for it which if you do have medical conditions then you most likely won’t get health insurance. That is inhuman to not help the less fortunate that need help by setting a certain standard to have health insurance. If other countries can care for their citizens for free why can’t the United States. (Sorry Ik I have punctuations mistakes 👍) Side: Healthcare for all
I completely agree with having health care for all. Most people in this world don’t have enough money to pay for so much. We really need to help them, there’s people dying in this world, yet doctors can’t attend them because they can’t afford it. I find that disgusting that people are actually dying because they can’t afford to pay, we should help them by having free healthcare forever. Side: Healthcare for all
I believe we should have free health care for all because so many people in America don’t have enough money to pay for all the costs without insurance. This causes people to go in debt and sometimes they can lose their house or other assets they own. Having free health care for all grants easier access to getting medical attention. The United States government was established to work with and for its citizens. However, nowadays those believes seem to be far too distant. Why doesn’t the government want to establish free healthcare? Human beings are prone to get sick but it’s not like we’re signing up to become ill. Moreover, doctors and healthcare’s nature is to help people. Therefore, why shouldn’t it be free? Doctors study for years to help and cure humans while we try to avoid falling on our death bed. Moreover, it’s extremely unreasonable for any humanbeing to have to choose between loosing all their belongings and become flooded with debt or taking their last breath. We shouldn’t have to be struggling with our health while doctors and health insurance companies benefit from our struggles. There should be universal healthcare for everyone in the United States. No one should have to worry about wether or not they can afford to go to the doctor. If you need a medical procedure to save your life you should be able to have that procedure and not worry about the cost. The health system should focus on people’s health not their bank accounts. Side: Healthcare for all
I support universal healthcare because I don’t believe we can necessarily and entirely take care of ourselves when we are sick or worse. I do believe health care should be fair for all people. As long as the health care system and insurance companies aren’t cheating people out of their money and actually working to improve a client’s health, then I will support universal healthcare. To me, it doesn’t make sense to make billion of dollars and there are still thousands of people sick and still dying! However, if we develop a more fair and honest system, there will be no problem with universal healthcare and people won’t HAVE to care of themselves. Side: Healthcare for all
I support universal healthcare for all due to the amount of debt people in the United States experience after doctor visits. Medical expenses can be very high even if you have insurance, so healthcare is very necessary and beneficial. Universal healthcare would be more effective than struggling with 1000+ expenses. Side: Healthcare for all
We should all have healthcare because a country should be able to take care of it’s own citizens, because we pay taxes and are part of the reason why this country runs the way it does. Didn't our parents come here to give a better life to their children? Doesn’t the U.S Constitution state “Life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness”? Yet the U.S. government doesn’t take to heart these statements. For example, to pass the free health care for senior citizens health care agencies had to bribe the representatives by giving them money. Of course everyone got their share from this agreement. This just proves even further that the government is corrupt. The world runs on money. No one will make a move unless they get a reward such as money or powerful positions. Side: Healthcare for all

I totally agree with you, the government is corrupted and doesn’t commit to their own words. Everyone deserves a healthy and life and healthcare. You are right most of our parents came here to give us a better heathy life. I loved how you supported your statements with the government since they are the main reason why not everyone receives healthcare. Side: Healthcare for all
i believe everyone should have the ability to have some kind of healthcare. i chose this position because i believe its not fair some people can have some kind of insurance and others can’t. some people could be new to the country starting with nothing and cant get nothing, or you get insurance and when you really need it, they deny you because they want to save their company or you’re too fat or too skinny. thats not fair! lets say you get a job and you get some kind of insurance but its not the best and its not to cover the things you really need. the truth is insurance companies look for a way out so they usually check your recent history so like 5 years ago. i dont think that should be okay because lets say you filled out this paper 10 years ago and things have changed for you and youre getting penalized for a little mistake. Being able to provide universal health care allows those who are financially unstable have the opportunity to live a healthy life like the rest of us. Just cause a person doesn’t have the income to pay for help doesn’t mean they should get any help to stay alive. Being able to receive health care for everyone could decrease the amount of people that are in the streets because most of the time the people that are on the streets are the ones that need urgent medical care. I agree with you, healthcare is most needed for those in the streets and the ones who are economically stable. Everyone deserves a healthy life like any other person. I do agree that if everyone receives healthcare the amount of people in the streets will decrease, you stated good points! Side: Healthcare for all
Canink that health care should be free for everyone in the US because some people are born with health issues and that is just something one can’t avoid or prevent. Others do not take care of their bodies and then expect others to pay or take care of them. Additionally, most people in the US are not rich, which means they can’t afford the expensive medications needed to take care of diseases or any health problems that cannot be prevented, these include health issues developed because of age or an accident. Going back to the people not taking care of their own body, even though it is their fault for not living a healthy life, we obviously cannot let these people die because we have to take care of each other. We need to have that kindness in our hearts and help others. Side: Healthcare for all

Healthcare is a controversial topic worldwide, especially in the United States. Many people throughout the world struggle economically and are at a low economic position and they can’t afford healthcare and especially health procedures needed. Majority of people with healthcare is most likely to be able to afford their own health procedures. In the other hand, there is people that can’t afford healthcare procedures nor healthcare and are in need of major health procedures. This is why the United States has low mortality rate, there should be healthcare for all especially for the most needed. Side: Healthcare for all

I would choose health care for all because I feel that more people would benefit from this. I think this because many people don’t go to the doctor because they don’t have insurance no matter how sick they are. Knowing that they can receive help will encourage them to go when they are sick. A large population of the country has many disease but can’t be treated or even worse, some don’t know they have a disease because they have never gone to get checked. Providing healthcare will benefit many people. Side: Healthcare for all
I choose health care for all. I chose this position because I feel as everybody should be treated for care no matter what class they in.I don’t like how us as human being we judge base on how much money we have instead of ours personality. So, I choose the side that about the people instead of myself because if I’m fine but everybody miserable, sooner or later they gonna want to make your life the same. Side: Healthcare for all
I say health care for all because people who are born with disabilities and need a special type of care ,meaning many expenses. Many people can’t afford to b paying all that money.Even people who don’t have much health problems still need that’s type of health care because them aswell can’t afford it if any type of health problem happens.in conclusion, that’s why I think health care for all. I support healthcare because America has the worst health care system where people stay in debt possibly till the day they die .Its unfair how the government doesn’t pay or cover for most expenses when someone is in need. Many people struggle with payments like bills ,home expenses, food, children needs , etc. low income people are struggling on paying anything and when they get in a problem or get hurt they won’t have enough money . If the healthcare system is like Canada’s people won’t have debt as much and they won’t have to worry about doing procedures on their own . I think healthcare should be universal for all because some people can’t afford to pay to be helped. Some people have died from not receiving help, and money is not worth a life. If we give everyone "free" healthcare we will never improve, we'll remain at the same level of medicine and may never find better treatments and cures. As long as healthcare is privatized, competition will increase which in turn will lower costs and continuously improve medicine. Side: We can take care of ourselves
While it is true that private health care causes competition, thats not what health care is about. It’s simply about helping people so they feel better and are healthy. Furthermore, the prices will be lowered if we keep the private health care, but in places like Cuba that has free health care the cost for medicine was 5 cents, and in London was $6 which is substantially less than what it costs in America. Side: Healthcare for all
The reason for low prices is because the government forces those drug companies to accept whatever payment amount the government is willing to offer. And guess where the drugs were produced. Not in Cuba. In America, if it weren’t for our system they wouldn’t have a third of those drugs to begin with since the US is responsible for the production of an entire 1/3 of the world drug market. Although I am for free healthcare, I agree with your statement. Privatized healthcare has shown improvement in the medical field, but the problem is that only the wealthy will be able to access these new approaches and procedures. Improvement for the wealthy and rock bottom for the working class. Side: We can take care of ourselves
We shouldn’t be worried of competition and all of that, of course it would improve things but people would be dying and suffering if they don’t have enough money to provide themselves health care. Health care should be provided to all no matter what economic levels they stand at Side: Healthcare for all
I agree with this because if everyone will have free medicine then there may be a shortage of herbs and things that have are in medicine and that is not good for the economy. Also there are people who are addicts and they be able to get there hands on drugs that are only use for medical purposes but they will use it for there own gain. Side: We can take care of ourselves

There should NOT be universal healthcare, because everyone should be able to choose wether they want private or public insurance. There are 294.6 million in America that do have insurance and has increased by 2.3 million between 2016 and 2017. There are more people insured than uninsured. Therefore, the government will be giving free healthcare to a lot of people who can already afford it. Furthermore, having universal healthcare will cause taxes to increase tremendously. For example, France has universal healthcare and their taxes are 30%. However, I do believe that health care is America should be priced lower. For the people who can afford healthcare their can be a government operated program for them, just like the affordable care act. I believe we should not have universal healthcare. Funding universal healthcare could increase federal spending by $32.6 trillion over the first ten years. It would increase the wait times in hospitals so if the patients aren’t dying from not having healthcare, they could potentially die from waiting 8 hours for proper care. Providing universal healthcare would nonetheless increase taxes meaning instead of paying the government 15%, workers would pay about 40% straight from their paycheck. Free healthcare would also lower the quality of care and make a shortage of doctors. Medicaid and other programs that help with medical costs are available for low income families. Side: We can take care of ourselves
I agree! In addition, we aren't equipped for an organized free health care system. People have dealt with working for care for so long, if they suddenly stop It could increase in the slacking of the people, potentially increasing our rate of disease. Side: We can take care of ourselves

But then there wouldn't be money to find possible cures for diseases if there's no money being given to the people that work. Universal healthcare is great for the people but it'd also be good for the people to have cures for diseases that could cost them their life. Side: Healthcare for all
I feel as though we should take care of ourselves because although you might get more health care attention it saves a sufficient amount of money to just take care of yourself. Nowadays health care is very expensive and the doctors don’t really do what they should be doing as far as taking care of you. Healthcare basically lie to us when they say they can cover so much of what we need to be treated because almost everyone gets denied. Even though you can’t really cure yourself or take of yourself, it’s best to take care of yourself because you can understand what situation your in and be able to notice things about yourself. Doing your research is very important and knowing yourself well could also help you with taking care of yourself. Side: We can take care of ourselves
I disagree because what if a person has a condition or illness that is unknown? The individual will not know what to do to take care of themselves. If the person mistakes their condition for a different condition and decides to take meds, they could possibly die if their actual illness does not associate with that medicine. If we give everyone free health care it would be very bad in my opinion. As it is unfair for people who worked hard with their job and getting their own safe health care. And the hospitals would be overpacked and their wouldn’t be a point for insurance companies. As i think people without healthcare don’t work for it as people with health care. As more than half people in the United States have healthcare and don’t have worry about their healthcare bills and expenses. Side: We can take care of ourselves

I disagree with you because by your logic, it’s unfair for student debt to be paid off by the government because people worked hard to pay it off, this thinking is wacky. Healthcare should be a fundamental right for EVERYONE regardless of whether they can afford it or not because that is not the point, money should not be the motive but instead it should be that all citizens have the best care they can get. And in the documentary Sicko it shows how many people didn’t have to wait HOURS to get treated and it also showed how a couple went BANKRUPT because of their healthcare provider and how a man could only attach one finger because he couldn’t afford it while in other countries they are not denied the basic care they need and are not denied the life saving treatments they require because it’s free for them and they don’t have to worry about how they’re gonna pay for their bills or if their insurance will cover it Side: Healthcare for all
Of course we can take care of ourselves. People just abuse the insurance. As the video stated, people apply to insurance after they have been diagnosed with something because then they don’t have to waste their own money. People even go as far as to lie about them not knowing that they have a pre-existing condition to get the insurance. Furthermore, when the people have control over the healthcare they can balance out what medical procedures are or are not needed. Finally, if we take care of ourselves we would be practicing preventive care and not need to go to the doctor as much as we do. Side: We can take care of ourselves
I decided to join the side that is not universal which states we can take care of ourselves because I don’t believe in the health care system.I believe that the government doesn’t really care about the needs of the people they just want the money and if you can’t afford it they will deny you. Sometimes when the Health care programs come one tv they try to make it seem like they really care about your health needs I think they do this to persuade people into joining the universal health care so if some of them have money they can take their money and if they don’t deny them treatment or send them something like a bill that doesn’t make sense. They want you to stay sick because I guess that’s how they make their money in general. Also, they make prices go up for medicines that they know a lot of people really need. Side: We can take care of ourselves
I believe that the government sometimes support one claim but not go through with it the whole way. Such as the necessity of health care for the 9/11 rescuers. Care was only provided for the people that were in the city and were involved in a rescuing team payed by the government. While the people who volunteered to help and people affected by the incident weren't provided care because " that was their choice and we didn't obligate them to help". Like yeah maybe they didn't have to help but that accident was your (government) fault because you didn't have the security and preventive care for these situations (airport security). Back in the old days people didn’t go to the doctors or hospitals over small things, they just died. It’s just natural selection picking those who can’t survive and leave those who can. Healthcare should not be free for everyone, if you can afford it, good for you, if you can’t, then oh so be it, find your own way to better your health. Healthcare is not and should not be a right, it should be a privilege that only those who can afford it deserve it. Side: We can take care of ourselves
I personally think that the government should run our health care. If everyone has free healthcare there would be chaos. We have adapted to the current insurance situation of America, and we all know that we take anything that is free. Americans are known for greed and irresponsibility, (and I'm not saying everyone is) and if we are given health care of all things, emergency rooms and clinics will be flooded with people who go to the doctor just to go. Side: We can take care of ourselves

Although everyone deserves the right to free healthcare, there are many reasons as to why we should continue to pay for our own bills. One reason as to why i don't support free healthcare is because the US will be in an even deeper debt than we already are because the government would have to pay for everyone’s medical bills and medications. Also, doctors wouldn’t be getting paid as much which will probably discourage people from being doctors due to the decrease in pay. One last reason as to why i don't support free healthcare is due to the long waits that patients would have to encounter. In the video that we watched, it stated that people would wait up to 6 months to get a free check up when they could have gone to a clinic to get checked out for a smaller fee than a hospital. I think we should keep the health care system the way it is because if we change it, it will take forever to transition. It will also cause the country to be in even more debt. Because Healthcare is expensive and can take everything from you which isn’t fair. Some people can’t pay hospital or even the bill. I personally think that we should take care of ourselves because health care isn’t helping us with our necessities and the needs. Health care think is okay to take everything from you leaving you with absolutely nothing or debt. Healthcare does people wrong with declining and not paying the bills like they are supposed to. Leaving people stuck financially. Side: We can take care of ourselves
Health care is a very controversial topic. Yeah there are both good and bad points in health care but in my argument the problem overrule the benefits. Health care can allow people to have a backup plan when they cant afford there medical bills. But there is cases where health care businesses can revoke there money and dump money problems on you. Or you could be denied the care you need because a preexisting condition where they are making it your fault in having that condition. To me health care just makes more unnecessary arguments for being accountable to be paid the money. If people could take care of themselves by going to annual doctors appointments they could have preventive care and live a healthier lifestyle. Even if they are using their own pocket money to pay for these visits, the money that you would |
