The idea of competition being used to improve medicine is sad and scary. The system was to to better medicine while at the Same time make it accessible.Private owned insurance companies shouldn’t use their greed for profit to motivate their medical advancements.
I believe that healthcare should be universal because the last thing sick people should be worrying about is how they’re gonna pay for their medical bills. The healthcare system was meant to be a safety net for the middle class but like every other system those with excess continue to steal from people who have nothing to take from. Insurance companies should not cut corners and pinch penny’s when people lives are at stake. They know how dependent people are of their healthcare and they still deny thousands of people for having preexisting condition that were most likely unaware of. The motivation of private insurance to make medical advancements should not come from the money they saved from turning people away and leaving them to fend for themselves.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
