While I agree that we would still pay taxes we would save money overall. If you just pay $100 a month for the healthcare tax dosen't that save you money when you go to the emergency room and get a bill that would have normally cost $1300 and countless revisits to doctors that cost $50 to check on your injury.
I don't know if your family is taking care of itself just fine or not but many families can't even afford to go to the doctor or get insurance. And how are you even going to say we need another recession? No, offense but that's dumb, didn't you see whats happened the past year, millions of lost jobs, so much debt...
Okay, so we need to fix the healthcare system and this seems to be the best way to fix it. So for those of you that say we shouldn't use Universal Healthcare what's your reasoning? If you say it could be like Canada or Britain, where they supposedly wait for months(which they themselves denie) we probably have way for doctors so the supply most definatly meets the demand. And for those of you that say the economies rough, it's not anymore so get over yourselves. Plus we already pay a lot of taxes so what's one more tax for the healthcare system. If we have a better system it means more money for us because we don't have to pay so much for medicine and doctor visits and we just pay like $50-$100 for the tax. Plus there will be more jobs and money to go around. And to those of you who say we already have to big a debt we have to spend money to get out.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
