I agree with this statement 100%. This nation was established under such believes and not providing people with public health care snatches our unalienable right of life.

I disagree because not everyone gets to choose wether they want public or private health insurance. Moreover, some people may apply for Medicaid and help from the government but that doesn’t mean that everyone gets accepted. Plus, Medicaid and programs like such don’t cover all the medical expenses. Also, waiting times are already long enough but there’s always the emergency section for people who need to be seen right away.

The United States government was established to work with and for its citizens. However, nowadays those believes seem to be far too distant. Why doesn’t the government want to establish free healthcare? Human beings are prone to get sick but it’s not like we’re signing up to become ill. Moreover, doctors and healthcare’s nature is to help people. Therefore, why shouldn’t it be free? Doctors study for years to help and cure humans while we try to avoid falling on our death bed. Moreover, it’s extremely unreasonable for any humanbeing to have to choose between loosing all their belongings and become flooded with debt or taking their last breath. We shouldn’t have to be struggling with our health while doctors and health insurance companies benefit from our struggles. Finally, no one should be dying because they can’t pay their medical bills or get neglected from health insurances because this country is supposed to be a FREE country.
