Of course it SHOULD be approved for all, but it is not. Which is the problem with the greedy insurance companies.

Health care is not "free" in Canada. The tax payers of their country pay for their health care. Are your parents not constantly complaining about taxes? People say they are willing to have free health care, but few are willing to pay more taxes. It is an illusion that health care would ever be totally free.

The need for health care is obvious, but the need for overbearing insurance companies is not. While I do not believe that health care should be universal, I do believe that the insurance companies need to be harnessed. The insurance companies are the greedy, corrupt powerful leaders of the problem, when they are brought down, health care will be available. However, bringing down the insurance companies looks near to impossible. This may be merely wishful thinking.
