I think that Universal health care is the best option for America right now. With the economy we have right now, most people cannot afford health insurance, but most people need it. Without universal health care, most people have to worry about whether or not their insurance companies will pay for their doctor/hospital bills. I believe that with Universal Health care will allow people access to the medical attention they need without all the hassle .

I support universal for a couple reasons. One is because I don't think it is right that a person can get kicked out or treated with less quality because of it. Secondly, there are many people that need insurance more than some of us who don't. Third, others don't have the money to pay for their medical bills out of their pocket.

I think that everyone should have health care, because not everyone has money to get it , and/or can not keep up with the payments. I know from being a young mother that I would not be able to pay for my child's health care with out Medicaid because I am so young. I think the US health care system should be like Canada's or one of the other foreign were they don't have to be turned away if they don't have health care .

I want to support Universal Health Care for All because a lot of poor people doesn't have enough money to pay for medications, insurances and stuffs. So I think the government should pay for some of the medication bills and stuff. I also disagree with it a little bit because if the government is going to pay for all the medication bills, the tax prices is going to be really up like Canada and other countries, and the government might go on debt. So I think the government should pay for some of our medication bills or for the really poor people, medication shouldn't be totally free. I think that is for the best for everyone in our country.

If we had Universal Health Care then people wouldn't be denied the treatment they need, and if that were to happen then we would live longer and not worry about weather or not we can pay for the treatments.

There are about 40 million Americans that are not insured,that is a big number. Some of those people may have a chronic condition but since they are to scared of the prices then they don't do anything to take care of themselves. They choose to suffer than to go to the hospital and see whats wrong.

I think we should have universal health care because people are dying! It isn't their fault they have diseases. They shouldn't be blamed for something they had nothing to do with. Without universal health care the government is making themselves look like greedy fools.

I believe that Universal Health Care will be beneficial to everyone. Not only will you not have to turn away patients but you can help people for free. They can live a long healthy life without any guilt of rejecting anyone. Also doctors will be everywhere all the time whenever you need them, they'll be there for you.

I think everybody should be able to get health care because everyone deserves it. If anyone has had any difficulties in the past, that shouldn't matter. Everybody deserves to have equal care. No one should have more care than another person. We're all the same and deserve to be treated equally.

I think everyone should have health care. Many people die from not being able to go see doctors or get treatment. People with severe conditions could go to the doctor whenever they needed to and no one would be denied the care they truly need. Our lives would be that much easier to not have to worry about loved ones dying from an illness that could be fixed and people wouldn't have to live in fear of having to go bankrupt from payments or insurances dropping the payment on them.

I think health care should be free for all because there's millions of people that don't have healthcare or can't afford it and are not getting the help that they most strongly need. Also in universal healthcare the medicine is dirt cheap however in the american healthcare system the medicine is ridiculously expensive sometimes and people are incapable of paying for it. Although if we have universal healthcare taxes would be through the roof, if your a doctor you don't get payed as much and there's a long waiting list, but waiting in a line is better than getting no help at all. So to conclude I think that the good outweighs the bad in this scenario, and healthcare should be universal for all.

Universal Health Care can help people that don't have the money to pay for the treatment they need

I think that we should have universal health care because its better than the system that we have right now. Many people die for not having health insurance, and with universal health care more lives can be saved.

Well, I think universal health care would be nice to have. Every body gets sick sometimes in their life. Their is a big population of people with out jobs and that means no money, so they need the health care to get check on if anything ever happens. And with this health care it could save lives.

Not everyone can take care of them self in there time of need unless they have to much pride they will say they don't need any ones help, but not everyone is like that so I think there needs to be health care for everyone that wants it for the rest they can have a lower health care just to be safe.

Even though UHC has its cons (like more taxes), it is "waaaay" better than what we have now. Human morals have decreased so low that we can throw someone out for not being able to pay for their health. Really? We live in the same world & should take care of each other. Give the government some guild lines and rules and let them help us.

I think the health care system is stupid. Health care should be free. If you have no health insurance and you need an operation or you'll die the doctors are going to reject you because you don't money. They don't care about you all they care is about money. They get a bonus just to reject people. Cuba is a 3rd world country and they have a better health care system. Inmates have better health care system and that's not fair. Right now, UHC is better than what we have now. Sure this might higher the taxes but that is it not better to know that you won’t go bankrupted for taking expensive surgery that could save your life. I have Medicaid and I my parents don't have to pay for anything, but when my parent are sick they have to deal with it be because they don't have health insurances. So Universal Health Care would real help them out.

I think we should have universal health care. If we do have it though, our taxes will most likely increase. Right now, the economy is really bad, and the unemployment rate is really high. Universal Health care should be made for all. So many people don't have the opportunity to have health insurance, and many of those have serious medical issues. The countries that have universal health care like Canada and England do have their problems. Like for example in Canada you have to wait a long time to get attended, and in England stuff like getting checked with the dentist is really expensive, so the health insurance doesn't really cover it. Now that the U.S sees their small problems, they can create a universal health care that will succeed the rest.

I think the United States should have universal health-care because, even though taxes would increase, people who couldn't afford health care before would be able to afford medical care. Even if it takes the United States government a few years to set up the universal health-care system, it would be better than people taking care of themselves. If there was universal health-care in the United Sates, our mortality rate would probably decrease because more people would be able to afford the medical attention that they need.

If we all had free health care, then all of the US would be better off with no hospital debts & such. Also, everyone would be healthier because they'd have health care helping them pay doctor visits, dental check-ups, & any other medical check-ups that people can't afford.

I agree, because some companies don't pay for the people who are needy for a healthcare and if we have a universal healthcare then everyone will pay monthly, and if someone happen to get sick then they can get their medicines. Then I guess, there will be less amount of people without the healthcare plan, if compared to about 40 million people.

Universal care is better for the US. It would be better due to the fact that everyone would be helping each other out as human beings, why do we separate ourselves and make barriers towards the homeless or sick, we should all be able to grow as a team and help each other out.

I support the Universal Health Care,because we are able to get medicated.If we had to medicate our own selves not that many people would be living. People would have to find the resources then they would have to find and way to turn it in to medicine. But not that many people have medical degrees and know what all goes in the medicine or how to mix it.

Other countries seem to be doing pretty good with free health care, which gives them a higher life expectancy, shouldn't we have the same rights?

i think they should used because if they don't they have that they can die or they spread the disease to some other people because they don't get cure that is why this is important and for the people that have it they should used it only when theirs like a emergency because if they used every single time they go to the doctor they are just wasting money that is not even using it the right way

We should have Universal Health Care for all because that way people won't be afraid of medical insurances not supporting them just because they can't afford it or because they have some kind of chronic condition. I believe that Health Care should become Universal because people cannot afford the Insurance. Universal Health Care envisions people getting healthy without paying a single penny, no matter their race, culture, ethnicity, rich or poor. I believe the government should put free universal care as a priority. This is important because it provides insurance for people and families that can't afford independent insurance companies. With them taken care of medically, it will reduce the statistics such as the mortality rate. By decreasing the mortality rate, it can make this country a better place to live.
