I can somewhat agree with what you are saying. The abuse of service argument definitely makes sense. I feel that if their is going to be universal healthcare, the patients should meet a certain requirements to receive free care based on the extremity of their case. For instance, someone with a scratch on the knee shouldn’t go to the doctor just because it is free. Someone that needs surgery (not cosmetic) should receive free health care because it is detrimental to their health. Someone on their death bed should receive free health care. I hope you can understand my response.

I totally agree with you. The healthcare system is so messed up and needs to be fixed fast. It shouldn’t cost so much for us to be treated. Many people’s lives are ruined just because they can’t pay their medical bills and on top of that they typically stay ill. Treatment needs to become better if the medical bills are going to be that expensive.

Healthcare should be free for all. There is no reason medical bills should be a couple hundred to a couple thousand dollars for stitches. There is a lot of hidden fees in medical bills and making health care free will save so many people from getting scammed or going into debt, as well as save so many lives.
