I believe that universal health care should be the standard in the United States in America. The reason I use the subjective word standard is because I also believe private health care should also be optional to individuals who would like it. To deny a person their right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is unconstitutional. Therefore, making universal health care the standard gives individuals who cannot afford private health care the choice to live.
