I respectfully disagree because taxes are high as is. Just my dad pays over the median American salary just with regular taxes. I think the system needs work, but it is still more efficient than a universal healthcare system would be.

My opinion is based solely on my family and I's experiences with healthcare. With the current plan we have, it covers all the expenses we have, and we typically have a hefty sum of money left over. I'm able to go to the Dentist, Orthodontist, Dermatologist, Chiropractor, and Active Release Therapist as needed. My parents have had multiple surgeries, and our insurance has covered us. If healthcare was run by the government we would not be able to have as much freedom with procedures and office visits.
