The
United States health care has been a controversial issue for decades.
Currently, some people are covered under government health plans through
programs like Medicaid, Medicare and Children’s Health Insurance Program
(CHIP). Many of the rest receive health care through their employer, or through
private insurance for which they have to pay out of their own pockets, but
about 40 million people in the USA do not have health insurance at all.
Does
our current free enterprise system keep our health care top notch and encourage
doctors to practice here?
Should we have universal health care?
